Terms of Service

• ExtractInvoice extracts data from your receipts and invoices using AI
• You pay monthly for the service (after a 7-day free trial)
• You can cancel anytime - no contracts, no BS
• We'll do our best to extract accurately, but AI isn't perfect
• Don't use this for illegal stuff

Account Rules

• You must provide accurate information (real email, real payment info)
• You're responsible for keeping your password secure
• One account per business (no sharing to save money)
• You must be 18+ or have permission from someone who is
• If someone hacks your account, tell us immediately

Beta Access

During beta, we may limit access to approved users only. If you're not on the list, you'll need to wait until public launch.

Current Plans

• Starter: $49/month - 200 documents
• Professional: $79/month - 500 documents
• Premium: $149/month - 1,500 documents

Overflow Pricing

Go over your limit? No problem:

• 10% buffer zone free (e.g., 220 documents on Starter)
• After that: $0.25 per document (Starter), $0.15 (Professional), $0.10 (Premium)
• Overflow charges bill at the end of each month

Billing Terms

• 7-day free trial (50 total documents)
• Monthly billing starts after trial ends
• All payments processed by Stripe
• Prices in USD
• No refunds for partial months (but you can cancel anytime)
• We'll email you before charging your card

You CAN:

• Upload legitimate business invoices for processing
• Export your extracted data anytime
• Use the data for your business operations
• Cancel your subscription whenever you want

You CAN'T:

• Upload fake or fraudulent documents
• Try to reverse-engineer or hack our service
• Resell or sublicense access to others
• Use automated scripts to abuse the service
• Upload documents containing illegal content
• Share your account credentials
• Use the service to process personal/sensitive documents (medical records, etc.)

What We Promise:

• We'll work hard to keep the service running 24/7
• We aim for 95%+ extraction accuracy
• We'll respond to support emails within 2 hours (business hours)
• We'll protect your data (see Privacy Policy)
• We'll give you notice before any major changes

What We DON'T Promise:

• 100% uptime (servers break sometimes)
• Perfect extraction every time (AI has limits)
• That extracted data is legally or tax compliant (verify important stuff)
• Instant support at 3 AM on weekends

The legal stuff we have to say:

• ExtractInvoice is provided "as is" without warranties
• We're not liable for any business losses from using (or not being able to use) the service
• Our maximum liability is limited to what you paid us in the last month
• You're responsible for checking the accuracy of extracted data
• We're not responsible if AI misreads something important
• You indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the service

Translation: Don't sue us if the AI reads "$1,000" as "$10,000" and you don't catch it. Always verify important data.

• Your stuff: You own your documents (receipts/invoices) and extracted data
• Our stuff: We own the ExtractInvoice service, code, and brand
• License: You give us permission to process your documents (receipts/invoices) through our AI providers
• Feedback: If you suggest features, we can implement them without paying you

You Can Cancel:

• Anytime from your dashboard
• No questions asked, no exit fees
• Service continues until the end of your billing period
• Export your data before cancelling

We Can Terminate If:

• You violate these terms
• Your payment fails repeatedly
• You're doing something sketchy or illegal
• You're abusing the service or our team

We might update these terms occasionally. If it's a big change (like pricing), we'll email you 30 days before it takes effect. Small clarifications might happen without notice.

• These terms are governed by California law
• Disputes will be handled in California courts
• Try talking to us first before lawyers get involved (hello@extractinvoice.app)
• No class action lawsuits - disputes are between you and us only

API Access (Premium Only)

• Rate limited to prevent abuse
• API keys must be kept secure
• No scraping or automated bulk operations beyond plan limits

Data Export

• CSV export always available
• Bulk export may be limited to prevent abuse
• Exported data is your responsibility
